Bring Forth The Rain by Jacki M ButlerAnd so it begins
Rain pounding my skull
Filling my hands with water
Filling my heart with emptiness
Streaming down my face
Rolling off my skin
Repeatedly piercing my skin
The coldness of the drops
Will I ever be
In a dry, warm, safe place again? 03/24/2002 Posted on 03/24/2002 Copyright © 2024 Jacki M Butler

Posted by Kimberly Bare on 06/20/05 at 03:51 AM yes...sometimes the raindrops make one feel as though they are drowning and oppresed...but sometimes they can refresh and wash the pain away with them, bringing rainbows... |
