Get Out While You Can

by Anne Engelen

Passing people,
not often do they smile
They're rushing through life
in a hurry all the while
No one has time
to stop and wonder about their lives
A terrible waste it seems
tranquillity only exists in dreams

It's up to us
to change our way of thinking
rushing through life
is like being on a boat which is sinking
Therefor get out while you still can
Get in the lifeboat
and become a peaceful man
