I have had more questions
about what we are
and how we act
than I care to think of
I feel like I am stuck in Bonnie Rait's song
lets give um something to talk about,
we are friends,
just friends
so we walk around with our arms around one another,
so we sit and talk at parties
rather than mingling with others
so you feed me ice cream off your spoon,
and offer to take care of me when I am sick,
so what
we are only friends.
So what if I wonder now
what you are thinking about
and how you would react to the questions posed.
As Jess puts it
you two are already dating you just haven't named it and you aren't doing any of the fun stuff.
So what if I see the whole of my world in your eyes,
and you can make me forget all my problems.
Then why did I start blushing yesterday when we were talking??
and why do you kinda hesitate before saying things,
maybe this is like the song,
maybe we are meant to be something more
and niether one of us even thought of it until we heard others talk about it.
