So much for fairy tales
so much for sweet dreams
and sweeter kisses
gentle and enveloping
so much for faith in love
and loving faith
so much for so very much
I will never give up my ideas my ideals but reality does set in at times
and it is then my responsibility to realize that I may never be whom I long to be nor with whom I truly love
And all because of fear
all because of fear
becasue I am so afraid that I may not deserve that which I long for and that may in turn lead to his harm,
or my harm and I do not wish to trespass against fate
but I fear if I do not act then the moment will be forever lost among a sea of regrets.
But fear over takes
and poision fills the veins
and I will not be whom I should
and I shall not love whom I might.
so much for fairytales
so much for love.
