All I can do
is write what is in my heart
I am not looking for love
for fame
for national acclaim
not even respect.
I am looking for me
for that part that was lost so long ago
when the world split into continents
ripping me into
a million pieces
I am lost
and comfused
but getting less so everyday
I am only looking for me
no one else
I have school
and my job and
my life
and that is enough to manage right now
so all I can write
is what is in my heart
a love undying
a life unresolved
and me
just being me
for the first time in my life!
