This little man,
My bundle of joy
A rascal of a little boy
Always ready to pull one on you
But in the meantime hugs and loves you too
He’s smart, funny and sometimes sad
He’s the best little friend I ever had
He’s great with words
Expressing his emotions and concern
He’s my little teacher of things I had to learn
He taught me to look at things differently
And quite often he was right
My son, brightens my life splendidly
Like a light in the middle of the night.
