No rose could smell as sweet
Nor feel so soft at my
Aching, burning finger tips.
Roses can not hold such
A beautiful natural shape
Attention paid to a rose
Is a fraction of attention
That I would pay to you
If it were possible.

A rose has thorns that sting
And draw blood from my gentle touch
I doubt you could do such
Even if you tried, to touch you
Would in itself be to dive into
Natures true beauty and splendid form.

A rose is nothing when compared
To such a beautiful woman.
Roses are viciously ugly,
When held to you
..And I like roses a lot
