settling in
the dark clouds of dullness
bringing the numbness
and boredom
that takes overwhelming control
detaching the body and soul
Life
distractions
all zipping around
as if trapped in a snowglobe
warm Southern sun
beating down in the clear afternoon
breeze
blowing gently east
another day
another emotion
another step towards home
