Everyone needs a little romance in their life,
a little something here and there would be nice.
Something to bring a smile to your face,
something that would liven up the place.

A rose in hand, a box of chocolates in the other,
a smile on my face that would make you say "Oh, brother!"
A sweet love letter, or maybe even two.
Just to tell you that 'I Love You'.

A gift or present, when it isn't your birthday,
and always letting you have it your way.
Watching movies, that have to deal with romance,
and a couple plays, where the actors dance.

At night, we go to the park, and look at stars,
instead of being with people, drinking at bars.
Eating desserts together, I know you like cherry pies,
I can tell every time I look in your eyes.

I'll give you a reason to smile, whenever we meet,
and no, I'm not hiding something by acting sweet.
I will make you smile with everything I do,
just so I can hear the words, 'I love you!'.
