i've packed my friends away in shiny boxes now and placed them upon the shelf
perhaps to keep me far from them
or maybe, them far from myself.
it doesn't have to go unsaid
that i've chosen my choices quite
drastically
but sometimes it's best to keep away
from them, or maybe to keep them in shiny boxes
away
from me.
