Is the girl you dream of
the person you wish you were
the lover you pretend to be
the mother figure you express
the child you never were
the woman you wish was loved


and why people will never see her
is because you are too afraid
and you fear the ones you love
the ones you love do not see
because you will never see yourself
nor let the secret of who you are, "be".




(ever wish you were someone else? ever wish you were something you could never be? ever regret yourself? it hurts. but then again, "you" are probably reading this, and how would you ever know? Perfection lies in the eyes of others, and though you are perfect, and beautiful to me, i live with knowing i am not what you will ever accept.)
