(I change the title of this work so that i can remain a member of this place, i am one of the original members however, i am not permitted to express what is in the heart. i am offended by the sacrastic reply i received. it was not intentional to title the poem what it was, and i do apologize, however, what is in the heart isn't something that can be sugar-coated. i am offended by the "Nice Try" i received. I didnt "Try" to do anything other than express my heart. Thank you for degrading me, my work, and hurting my feelings.) so hurt inside
and all i want is my own heart
so hurt inside
more guarded than the castle gates
so hurt inside
and i want to be what i have never been.
so hurt inside
words spoken out of uncertainty
so hurt inside
and lacking the confidence to stand
so hurt inside
i dont mean to be so rash
so hurt inside
i dont mean to be so cold to the world
so hurt inside
wearing the scars i bear from everyone
so hurt inside
and mar my dreams with nightmares and fears
so hurt inside
and im scared
so hurt inside
