When a person cries in the night,
Do the angels cry along with them?

Does your noon day shadow mock you
When you're not looking?

When a baby is born unto this world,
Do the ghosts of the family rejoice?

Do the stars shine brighter above
When being looked upon from below?

When a child reads a scary book,
Do the monsters watch from the closet?

Do the trees speak of your presence in the rustling wind
As you walk through their forest world?

When a tree falls in the forest,
With no one else around,
And falls on a mime,
Does anyone really care?

Well, do they?
