Aunt Myrtle's Baby

by Jane E Pearce

Aunt Myrtle is pregnant
at the ripe age of eighty three,
poor old groom so flabbergasted,
he can hardly pee.
She's knitting booties and hats
in pink and blue plaid,
while her husband struts around,
"I've been bad! I've been bad!"
The now quiet house
will no longer be still,
poor Aunt Myrtle forgot
to take the pill.
Is she going to breast feed?
I don't know that score,
if she does, she'll have to put
the baby on the floor.
The whole situation
is really rather sad
while all the time he struts around,
"I've been bad! I've been bad!"

Oh my! I started giggling, almost guffawed, and then I realized... my grandparents are 81! Now I'm afraid... very afraid....lol... Thank you I quite enjoyed this = )

Great fun! Only Sara and Abraham could get away with this! Heeheehee! (Not really funny if it were possible without divine intervention!) Look at all the trouble Abraham and Sara got involved with when God created the miracle. LOL!!
