In Search of
a guy
who has eyes I can fall into
and arms that keep me just the right warmth
and a voice that soothes my headaches
and a smile that brightens my world.
Who wears good cologne,
but only enough
that you can smell it when he is holding you so close in his arms that you feel his breath on your face.
The kind of cologne I can spray on my bed sheets
so I can think of him when he is far away.
In Search Of a man
who will be a partner,
not a puppy,
if I wanted something to follow me around and slobber all the time I would go to the animal shelter and save a life.
In Search Of
Someone who will challenge me,
who is smart
but knows when he is beaten,
a man strong enough to realize, that I do not have female friends,
girls annoy the hell out of me,
that doesn't mean I am sleeping with all my guys.
Someone who is self confident,
and strong,
and can hear my whole story
and tell me it will be ok,
but never say he understands,
because no man ever could.
In Search of
a gentleman,
who will love me,
despite it all.
In Search of my soulmate,
is that too much to ask???
