from the first day I saw you
the first day you appeared in my life
so full of energy
and light
and good God you were everything
I could not take my eyes off of you!
and somehow we became friends,
and I realized you were
as good as you seemed
and that you were one of the good ones
and somehow somewhere along the lines,
I fell in love with you.
but I cannot tell you that,
we are friends
and I cherish that friendship
and I would never want to lose you
you are a good guy,
and I will love you forever,
despite appearances
