The funny thing is.

All i have ever known
felt, seen, touched, and tasted
pales in the prescence of you.
the scars of memories fade
and everything is new.
Though im in another place
breakneck speed and taunting
my old and quiet companion sadness
i cant find the heart of true expression
as the mind sweeps away to you.

(I dont ever want to be sad around you, you and everything you seem to know, seems very bright, and mellowed...im so tired of being sad, im tired of being around people that want to be sad, im tired of people that like me sad...you make me happy, and no dinky poem on some little website will ever really let you know that.)
