Four Haiku-forms From Hill Top

by Ronald A Pavellas

Sit! Beckoning rock
Appears from under oak tree.
Hawk can't see me here.

Low sun-light reveals
Arachne's glimmering shroud
Blanketing felled leaves.

The bent, patient oak
Lives beyond generations
Of allies and foes.

Hawk: she dives, swoops, glides,
At ease in setting sun-light.
"I": become oak, rock.
