My Angel from God ...

she came to me as a gift from God
he knew that I was in need
life was twisted inside out
I was thinking that was it for me

Her heart was filled with a vibrant light
more love then I have ever seen
she brought me the gift to live
to be free from the black mist
that surrounded my soul

She helped me to see my wounds
then healed me with a power I had locked inside
she gave me color and sight

she mend my wings so I could rise
then she gave me wind and watched me fly
I know if I asked
she wrap the sky and set it at my feet

My friend is there for my fears
she there to wipe my tears
and when I am a fraid to walk alone
she's there to help me find my way home

There are no words that express
just what my angel has given me
But I do thank you
and I love you for setting me free!
