If I risk my heart,
it will likely be broken,

on valentines day,
can you write it off as a joke?
Me who hates that holiday more than any other?
Can you look at me and think
'God she must be losing it'?
I will risk it all,
so very very much,

that I may have closure
and if it ruins you
then I am sorry
and if it hurts you
I appologize,
but I need to know
so you need to hear it.
If you break my heart,
I'll survive,
if it kills our friendship
I will perish
on Valentines day,
damn holiday,

for yourself.
