Requiem To Love by David Neubauer
A lump of ice, another day,
another love departed.
Another dead, empty feeling,
another dead body shedded.
My skin has gone, Ive just
metamorphasized into a
free spirit subsisting on
the pain, the agony, the
torrent of torment, all
over one life, one soul,
two bodies, one soul,
two bodies, one mind,
one mind, all alone.
Another lump of ice
forms in my head,
in my heart, where
I carry it always
as a treasure. 02/05/2002 Posted on 02/05/2002 Copyright © 2024 David Neubauer

I'm glad -I stopped by to read this. Very well done , David. |
