Helplessly I sit
In a little blue chair
While my best friend suffers

She is in pain
I know this
I see this
But I can't help

I sit with her
Console her
Try to make her relax

How can she relax
When the knife is stabbing her
Taking away her breath

She is hurting
She is sad
And I sit with her

She goes home
Still in pain
So I just am there
To help her
And be the friend she needs
When she needs me to be.
