Head tilted over
Pen strolling across the page
Drawing out inner thoughts

Hair streams over the desk
Concentration
Alone in her own world
Closed in

I wonder if she wants to get away?
If she wishes for wings?
Or if she thinks of anything at all?

She doesn't wonder where she's going
Or where she's been
Just immersed in the picture

Painting her life
In shades of Tuesday
