The Flame of Fascination

by Adrian Calhoun

See it dancing?

It scares you,
yet at the same time fascinating.

It draws in every eye,
of the willing spectators.
Almost has them worshiping,
dancing in some hypnotic rhythm .

Respecting it,
as it consumes everything in its' path.
Fixated trances watch,
while the demon dances.

Breathing every precious bit of oxygen,
each minute frozen in time.
This night,
to be forever etched in their minds.

For all to admire.
The dancer,
the demon,
none other than fire.

They shall never extinguish,
my burning fascination!

I've always enjoyed this one... must have gotten a touch of the pyromaniac gene...

I like the interesting correlation between you and the flame here Sir Adrian. A fascinating read to say the least. Happy Birthday and Happy New Year! Peace...
