I see you
as perfect
as angelic
as everything I ever whished
I could have been
You saved me
often enough
from self doubt
self loathing
suicide.
I love you
not for all of this
for being you
for being here
and letting me be here
and I will always refer to you
as one of my best friends
and my soulmate
and my one true love
even though these words fail me
when you chance to be near
I believe them all,
even if you never know.
