my waiting room is in my heart.
where I am waiting for baby
pink and new.


listening for the telephone
staying home.

I don't want to miss a moment.
this sweet anticipation.

grandma's house
has a nice ring to it.

I've made a list.
things to do with my granddaughter.

its a long list
with lots of pink things
and icecream cones.

praying my daughter
doesn't have too hard of a time
in her labor of love.

and I find myself thinking
back to my own little girl
pink
new.

I'm falling in love all over again.
