from the look in your eyes that says I have a hold on you
that makes it seem as if you are waiting on every word from my spoken breath
Release me
from the effects of your touch
that makes me close my eyes so that I can't see what lies ahead when you know I need to anticipate everything
Release me
from the feeling of dependance that comes over me whenever I leave you
that I am unacustomed to because I've never known this feeling before and I'm not sure I'm comfortable with it (...yet)
Release me
from the unknown fears which tie me down, hold me back, and do not let me express what lies within
which continues to hold me back
even though you think you see...me
Release me
and you yourself will be released
Release yourself
and maybe then you will understand what love is supposed to be...Equal, not ownership
