Death... The Stress Reliever

by Lori I Wolfe

Life is there in front of your face
mocking you teasing you
kicking you all over the place

From the moment you take your first breath
you work and you learn
that you are working towards death

We come to this place to discover new things
like how to protect ourselves
to carry a huge sling

We taste loves first glance
for what do I ask?
To be punched in the gut for wanting to dance

We work for money to feed ourselves
but the job won't even pay for our bills
The boss has more hands that one can see
he grabs and touches, then I get the fee

So I ask you out there
how can life be so fair ...
I ask you is there more life to be found
or is it just all under ground ...

Is death my stress reliever ...
