The internet has become a habit by Anne HoweThe internet has become a habit
We see a little green light and grab it
Before it wanders on its way
To Melbourne, London or Bombay
And whatever happened to the books 'britannic?'
To which we'd turn in such a panic
When for childrens' projects
We hadn't a clue
The old red books always had a few
Now it's all here on CD rom
I'll sneak a quick look
Whilst I talk to Tom
I can go round the world in half an hour
But there are times I like to return to the bower
Of the comfy chair and a well read book
I raise my head up from my book
I only meant to sneak a look
But there's a green light and I grab it
This internet has become a habit
