Upon life's beginning, we each perceived The Whole.

Later, we saw parts in it.

And, we named the parts, and the parts of parts, and on and on.

And so, we could no longer perceive The Whole.

And, we thought ourselves clever in using these parts.

We said: "this is the real world,
The world of many parts
With different names and values,
Put here for our use and profit."

But now, through the passage of time,
We have regained perspective,
We can step back from the Real World.

Once again, we can peacefully regard The Whole --

Can't we?
