The Endless Conversation (Haiku-form) by Ronald A PavellasCool shade under tree Aircraft noises are distant Wind blows tunes through leaves
I contemplate trail Newly hewn by volunteers, Today's objective
The day is peaceful I regain connection with Some eternal forces
True-ness to oneself Requires knowledge of oneself Most elusive goal
---
"My" hill sits one mile Northwest of new-found hill-top Raptors circle-ing
Just a hill, no more Yet a universe of life For those who would see
Blessed solitude To think and be, smell and see No other concerns
Yet a consciousness, The observer and observed Two men that are me
Both now accepted No more battles as to which Is the more valid
This conversation Will continue to the end Of my days, and ... on? 07/27/1997 Author's Note: Santa Teresa Hills
