My Late Christmas Wish

by Amy Niggel

I see you,
when I I close my eyes,
and whisper into the night,
asking what it is,
my heart truly desires,
I feel you,
in every move I make,
in the blowing wind,
my angel,
it tells me of true love
in whispers
I want nothing so much as to
hold you,
to see you
to be with you
once again.
I miss you
like an ache I can't decribe.
I know it sounds funny
but I really believe this time.
I beleive you can heal me,
you can make me see again,
the joys of what life holds,
all I want is you,
I know it is late,
but I'm asking for a Christmas gift,
your arms,
wrapped around me
underneath the wilting mistletoe.
I get to see you soon tough,
and I am more nervous than I have ever been,
you,
you didn't even know me,
and you were entranced,
and I,
well I am becoming more so every day.
I want to be with you,
and I shall be soon,
then I will have all the things,
I asked for for Christmas,
because I'll have you.
