This is a natural phenomenon,

it amazes even me.
Innocence,
it lives in you
I had almost forgotten
what it looked like.
You smile and laugh so easily,
it makes me forget
the dumb shit I've done.
I am definately,
the worst half of our friendship,
why do you put up with me?
I've done worse things,
than you have even considered,
and yet you tell me I am a good person,
I am not mean,
I am not ugly,
and if I say that one more time
you'll hit me so help you,
hell you never even swore
before you knew me.
I have corrupted your mind,
and your heart,
now you look at men as objects,
you want them,
I think it is funny,
to hear you swear,
you complain that people
think you are so innocent,
by comparison to the world though,
you are,
and that is good,
and that is refreshing,
and that is part of the reason,
you are my best friend,
forever,
even though you will wait till marriage,
and I'll wait till the first guy asks,
even though you would never think
to swear around your parents,
and I call mine fucking assholes
even though we are as different as night and day,
we will be friends, forever,
and that is one of the most amazing things
I will ever know,
a natural phenomenon,
that is what our friendship is.
