like chasing a wolf,
dressed as a sheep,
and trying at night,
to feign sleep,
like living a lie,
or crying alone,
like solving a riddle,
or searching for home,
finding true love,
is a search
most impressive,
if you can find out,
just what true love is,
I see it around me,
as all my friends fall,
but it seems for me
there is none at all.
SO I wait for my time,
for my day in the sun,
for the day I will find,
my one true love,
he neednot be
a prince among men,
only devoted to me,
till the bitter end,
through good times and bad,
I shall rely on him,
and when it all ends,
By his side,
I will sit,
contented to be,
loved if only for a day.
and have experienced love,
in its true and most powerful way.
