I dreamed about you last night
Your piercing blue eyes stared intently into mine...
You did your usual flirtatious lick of the lips and I just laughed and turned away
I couldn’t let you know how I felt... it was almost like real life...
But it was different...because you knew...
You knew I loved you and you didn’t freak out... you didn’t take off running
For some reason I walked with you outside...it was winter... I remember the cold...
I could see my breath in the air... We stopped walking and you gave me hug like you always do...
But something was different this time..
As I pulled away and put my face close to yours like I do every once in awhile...instead of you backing away you
leaned forward.. and your lips brushed mine
It was so light and quick it was almost as if it didn’t happen...
I just looked at you in shock...but you just smiled and walked away
It all seemed so real...I felt the cold... I felt your hug... I felt your lips... I smelled your cologne..
But then I woke up... alone...
And the only thing I kept thinking was.. .you knew... you knew I loved you...
