::autumn rain:: by Bethany Leethrough liquid glamour of a cherubim's tongue,
we talk like liars, but smile...
Unicorns of unworthy jewels,
diamond tears falling from the sky,
bedding themselves in the
impregnated Earth.
You'll soon hear the sighs
and the pauses in time,
when her eyes glaze over
and she starts to cry.
...rain and beauty
flooding the mountains
in humble song
and adoration... 12/27/2001 Posted on 12/27/2001 Copyright © 2024 Bethany Lee
