Now I breath
Without a second thought
I draw in
A breath and exhale
Only to repeat
Eyes roll back now
I stretch out
Reaching for all things
I can't have
Heart thumps all alone
So off beat
It feels very sad
Still I breathe
In and out again
Wondering why now
All the stars shine
But never sparkle
When I look
Only have one time
On that beach
Near midnight with her
Then they sparkled
And we breathed
Happy to be alive
And in love
That time is gone
She is too
All I have now
Is my breath
As it comes in
And goes out
Hurting me every time
Still I breathe
