I wanted to be sad for the "she" in this poem, but then I though 'Ah, but as a pheonix, she will rise again, reborn in the ashes.' Somewhat resolves the guilt or sadness this poem might otherwise express.
So simple yet so powerful. evoked great imagery and emotion... great read. thank you
