Two souls passing
in the sea of life.
I reached out for
an answer to Empty,
a question living
in a restless heart.

Looking everywhere
for someone special,
then finding only
you looking for me.

In these days past,
filled with smiles
and wasted embrace,
does it ever seem
that a word unsaid
was a word ignored?

Knowing all you ever
truly wanted to hear,
was something that
I could never say.
