I am conservative and yet I am
the opposite of a liberal man.
I am conservative with my heart,
and yet I see with burning envy
those who are liberal with their
hearts.

Don't they see that I wish I
could be just like them, but
I know deep down I have
been hurt so many times by
there ways.

My heart sinks further when
I watch them kiss with liberal
lips and liberal hearts.
I want to be so liberal like
them, but I know better to
sit and wait and watch for you.
