razor jewels

by Holly H Dunne

The unscratched surface is naked and bare
No marks of misery, tears or despair
Carve a path of scarlet and colour in your sorrow
Feeds the pain inside with patters for tomorrow
Slit perfection open to glimpse the gold beneath
Forbidden ecstasy, just within your reach
Lethal beauty seeps into sight
Feels so wrong, feels so right
Rivers kiss your arm, love them as they flow
Washing away misery, depression, woe
The trail of sticky sweetness warms the cold inside
Just one drop does more than what a thousand tears have cried
Crimson gems of pain athstetic to the eye
Hunger for more jewels, more scarlet tears to cry
Gather all the rubies, they are yours to keep
And no one can take away the tainted drops you weep
Fatal fellery entertwined for all time
And ive fallen in love with my deadly design
