reflection noitcelfer by Rachelle Howe
Wandering fingers glance along pale skin
in painful memorization; the intricate lines
marked and made by ink, by lethal seduction,
staining each groove.
Jagged bone juts out; nubile hips
scream for corruption, redemption.
sharp inhales hiss through clenched teeth;
murmurs breach parted lips
dancing in wanton ears.
Toes dig into silk. Tangled hair the result.
Couplets of intensity swarm in and out,
selfish desire forgotten, exchanged for
symbolic planes of flawless limbs.
A clench of thighs, and fire works --
(the convulse of finality) --
feral grace lost in lover's give and take,
submerged in the waxing tide.
