Green Eyed Passion

by Ryan M Evon

Her eyes shine
Like sparkling emeralds
They speak to me
Luring me into a daze
Everything fades away
Minus the jade circles
Captured in ball of white
They stare at me intensely
For only a moment
And when they fall
On someone else I
Scream at my envy
Those almost teal eyes
Shoot pure energy into
My heart and pump it fast
I imagine her nude
Standing on a seashell
With only a fig leaf
To cover what her arm can't
She stands, staring at me
Those piercing green eyes
Mirrored by the sea green tint
Of the water behind her
They aren't the green of
Grass, or dollars
They sparkle more
Not even like emeralds
They are much more deep
Calling me into a secret cave
Where her and I can lay
On a giant rainforest leaf
Where the envy
Will forever be shattered
As she cries out for me
The green glow in
Her eyes magnifies
Until the whole cave
Is illuminated emerald
As we lay entwined
And bask in the green glow
