bright eyes
reflecting the starlight
lighting your beautiful face
in one instant
my heart sees true
and all else seems trivial
I know of no emotion
other than love,
true and deep
I see you forever.
like a little animal,
wild and big eyed...
I know this is real,
yet much like a dream -
I waiver for a moment,
savoring the sight.
so I can forever imprint
upon my lowly thoughts
your time stopping smile.
