As she lays there on the phone
Listening
She hears him speak so gently,
Patiently, as each word passes in her ears.
His words fill her thoughts, emotions, and her heart in complete joy.
His voice never to forget
Enjoying him every possible way she can.
Laughing
Sighing
And listening to him in complete and utter silence.
As she falls further and further
Inside of him.
And though she doesn't know or may find out
He is falling that much closer and one step more.
