Digital Angel

Deep down in your soul
you know that angel has control.
You know that its all for the good
so you got an angel, knock on wood.

A monitor, a phone.
A way to not be alone.
A way to grace someone with your smile
even though their away over a thousand miles.

A way to reach out and touch someone's heart.
A way to be alone but still play the part.
A way to show how much you care
with that dazed out stare.

A stare into memory bliss.
A state of mind from her kiss.
The hours you've come to miss.
Something so tangible as this.

So sleep tight with your digital angels touch
and come to forget the people you miss so much.
All those forgotten dreams to which you clutch.
So sleep tight and remember that angels touch.

So wake up and go through your day waiting
and to fall in love you keep debating.
So decide what on your mind you want grating
and get away from everything you've been hating.

So reach down and spell out the numbers of love
and feel that warmth rising from the deep above.
Feel the air around you, clasping like a glove
and feel cupid give that pat-back shove.

The butterflies in your stomach have always told the truth
even that one night when you came twice in that telephone booth.
So maybe love is only maintained by nail and tooth
so try and treat love with some manners and couth.

So caress your digital angel in your dreams
and forget all those bewildering screams.
Hold dear everything that he loves and deems
and come to love him and his digital beams

So hold tight this fantasy of being together
through all the calm and stormy weather.
Feel the bonds of love you've tethered
and how happy you've been since you got together.
