How do you open your eyes when you're blinded by love?
How do you remove something that fits over you like a glove?
How do you walk when you've been stranded all your life
and find out that maybe you just lost your wife...
How do you fix it all when your mechanically impaired
and you don't know love from the time shared.
How do you strike down those whom you love
to cause pain, sometimes to even draw blood..
How can we all think it's just a word
when everyone's felt, not just herd.
It's something different to everyone
but we're all blind to see the sun.
So we fall in love and break or own hearts
and to some these are the best parts.
For you never know love without loss
and showing the man from the cost.
For you don't miss it till it's long gone
until you wake up on that lonely dawn...
