she never came loudly
but that was never an issue
for Rodney couldn't hear
and Rodney never knew

she never made a sound
but shook from head to toe
for he had worked his fingers
and that was all he needed to know

she never tried to kiss him
but Rodney never cared
for she was always willing
and she was always there

she never tried communicating
but Rodney didn't mind
for Rodney couldn't hear
and she was slow and blind

she never liked the silence
but couldn't let it show
for Rodney couldn't hear
and Rodney didn't know

she always wanted to leave
but never found a way
for she was slow and blind
and Rodney made her stay

she always came and cried
but Rodney never cared
for Rodney couldn't hear
and she was always there
