Darkness...everywhere....
Everywhere except my heart...
My heart lights up because of you
It has been known to shine from miles away
They all know its because of you
They all know what brings light to the room...to the world
You were here again last night...bringing the world light...just like you always do
I closed my eyes and felt you there....almost close enough to touch
That unmistakable feeling of warmth that only you can give me
Oh last night was perfect...you were there with me...not too far from my heart
But as morning came you faded away and I faded away
I returned to the darkness I started with...
And I cried...
