the sound of my breath
racing
like a cloud of years
that trace through
the ugly years of depression
I crave to slay the expression
of totalitarian exhaustion

blatantly reposed
its that state of mind
with the clear glass
reflection in the middle
as we become fatigued
only to press on and
lose it in a rush of exhiliration

to escape the over zealous
hormone production
through the mundane functions
